Purpose Statement
The Spiritual Worship Online Community exists to foster authentic spiritual connection by creating spaces where people can experience and practice worship “in spirit and truth” (John 4:23-24), free from institutional barriers and religious hierarchies.
Core Commitments
1. Facilitate Direct Divine Relationship
We are committed to helping individuals recognize and develop their own direct relationship with God. As Scripture affirms, God is “not far from each one of us” (Acts 17:27). Our mission is to remove institutional barriers that often stand between people and authentic spiritual connection.
2. Practice Unconditional Love
We seek to embody and share AGAPE—selfless, unconditional love—in all our interactions. As 1 John 4:7-8 teaches, “God is love,” and our highest calling is to manifest this divine reality in our relationships. We believe unconditional love is both the means and the end of authentic spiritual life.
3. Create Non-Judgmental Community
Following Jesus’s instruction to “judge not” (Matthew 7:1-5), we cultivate spaces where people can explore their spiritual journey without fear of condemnation or rejection. We distinguish between discernment—which promotes growth—and judgment—which creates division and shame.
4. Honor Personal Responsibility
We respect each individual’s autonomous spiritual journey, believing that “each one should carry their own load” (Galatians 6:4-5). Rather than prescribing uniform spiritual experiences or practices, we support people in their direct accountability to divine reality.
5. Ensure Equality in Community
In accordance with Jesus’s teaching that “you are all brothers” (Matthew 23:8), we reject religious hierarchies that elevate some above others. Our mission includes modeling and teaching non-hierarchical, facilitative approaches to spiritual community and leadership.
